What to Write About

Calculation errors — If you find a result that appears incorrect, please include the input values and the standard/code you are working to. Screenshots are helpful.
Feature requests — Missing a check, a code provision, or a new module? Let us know what would be most useful.
Standard updates — If a code or standard referenced on the site has been revised and the tool has not been updated, please flag it.
General questions — Questions about how a particular calculation works or how to interpret a result are welcome.

What We Cannot Help With

CivilStrCalc provides tools for preliminary and educational calculations only. We are not able to:

Review or approve structural designs for construction projects.
Provide engineering opinions or sign-off on calculations.
Offer custom calculations or consulting services.

For project-specific engineering work, please consult a licensed structural engineer in your jurisdiction.

Response Times

CivilStrCalc is a small independent project maintained alongside other commitments. We do our best to respond to all messages, but response times may vary. Bug reports and calculation errors receive the highest priority. We may not be able to reply to every general enquiry individually, but all feedback is read and considered for future improvements.
